Terms and Conditions

Goods and services sold shall be on a cash on completion delivery basis unless an approved account has been received and approval granted in writing by Docmaster Pty Ltd (Docmaster). The applicant of a credit account grants permission to Docmaster to refer this application to their bank, trade references, credit bureau, mercantile company or supplier to assess their credit worthiness.

All invoices are to be paid in full within 30 days from the date of invoice.

Without prejudice to other recovery remedies, Docmaster may charge the applicant on any overdue accounts, interest at a rate of 4% per annum above the then overdraft interest rate available to Docmaster by the National Australia Bank.

Release of further goods and services may be withheld if an account has an overdue amount.

The applicant of a credit account agrees to repay immediately, in full, all outstanding invoices if requested by Docmaster due to the non compliance with Docmaster’s credit terms.

Credit is not extended on a basis that Docmaster is paid when the applicant is paid. We give credit to our clients only, not their clients.

Acceptance of a Docmaster quote or instruction to proceed with work is deemed acceptance of Docmaster’s Terms and Conditions. All goods and services sold to clients are subject to our terms and conditions which prevail over any contrary terms and conditions incorporated in standard orders supplied by clients.

Without limiting our right to withdraw credit, we reserve the right to suspend all work and place the account on hold until the account is returned to these credit terms. Docmaster may withdraw the client’s credit facility at any time without notice.

No claim against an invoice or the supply of goods or services will be recognised unless made in writing to Docmaster within 14 days of the date of invoice. Otherwise the invoice will be deemed correct. Docmaster does not accept that a query on part of an account is sufficient reason for non payment.

In accordance with the Australian copyright law, Docmaster is the owner of all files and artwork created for clients. The client shall be the owner of the end product (ie printed brochure). Release of electronic files is at Docmaster’s discretion. Copyright ownership may be transferred, subject to negotiation and agreement.

The client warrants that the goods and services supplied by Docmaster will not infringe the copyright, design, trade marks or other rights whatsoever of any third party nor contravenes any law for the time being in force.

Docmaster will not be liable for any resulting loss or damage suffered by the client. The company reserves the right to amend the Credit Terms or the Terms of Conditions of Trading, provided all proposed amendments are notified in writing to the client by ordinary post forwarded to the client’s address as set out in the credit application (or such other address notified to us).
